Devlog Week 1: Concept Development
We've changed some stuff about how the player interacts with the game, in our first pass of how the game is played we envisioned the player having to squeeze through npc's and the simple act of touching an npc would build up rage. in order to make things more of a challenge and make things more "gamey" we decided that all npc types would have a certain amount of knockback when touched, sending the player back and punishing them for bumping into people, but getting bumped, while making the player lose time, it also has its benefits, which woukd be building the rage meter. this was a good way to introduce strategy in how the player might interact with the world and also (for now at least) is a good way to prevent people from just farming rage and making it too easy
as for other news i designed the banner for the itch page and made a quick and dirty first pass for the background
